The Pioneer Center wants our patrons with disabilities of all ages to enjoy performances presented at our theater. Our staff and volunteers look forward to welcoming you and making your visit to the Pioneer Center a great one.

Wheelchair Accessible Locations
Accessible locations for wheelchair users are available for both single ticket and subscription ticket holders. Please let us know, when you purchase your tickets, if you or a member of your party requires accessible seating. Seating for one accompanying patron is available next to each wheelchair space. Additional guests in your party will be seated as near as possible.
If you choose to transfer to a seat, your mobility device will be stored in the back of the auditorium if space is available. If space is not available at the back of the auditorium, your mobility device will be stored in a secure room in the lower lobby. The device will be returned to you by an usher at the end of the performance and also during intermission or during the performance if requested.
Accessible seating locations are available only on the main floor orchestra level. The balcony level is not wheelchair accessible.

Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive listening devices (ALDs) amplify and clarify sound by cutting down or eliminating ambient noise. A wireless assistive listening system is installed in the theater and headsets may be used at any seat. Induction neck loops are available for patrons who use hearing aids and cochlear implants with a “T” switch (telecoil). Ask your audiologist whether your hearing aid or cochlear implant has a “T” switch (telecoil) and how to use it with an assistive listening neck loop.
Devices are distributed free-of-charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Devices are available from the Guest Services counter in the upper lobby. You may check out a device with an id that will be held until the device is returned. Please request a device from staff as you arrive.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking spaces are located on State Street, adjacent to the Pioneer Center plaza. Additional parking spaces are located in the Washoe County Restricted Parking lot on the corner of Virginia and Court Streets. This lot is free after 5 PM Monday – Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Wheelchair Accessible Restrooms
All restrooms are wheelchair accessible and may be reached from the upper lobby, lower lobby, and Exhibition Hall level.
Usher Assistance
Pioneer Center ushers will be happy to assist patrons who request to and from their seating location. Ushers are not permitted to assist in transferring patrons to or from their wheelchairs. If you are unable to transfer please notify the box office when you purchase tickets.
