Behind The Curtain
Broadway Behind the Curtain invites high school theatre students and educators to observe the load-in process of Broadway national tours and speak with touring theatre professionals. This organization works to inspire the future leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and families of our region!
Golden Encore
Golden Encore provides lifelong learning entertainment experiences that improve the quality of life for our region’s seniors. Golden Encore brings exceptional performing artists directly to senior centers, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, retirement community centers, memory care facilities, public libraries, and more across our region. Artists selected for the Golden Encore roster provide programs filled with music, movement, learning, and a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Individual audience members are never charged a fee to attend a Golden Encore performance.
Youth Program
Since 1967, Pioneer Center Youth Programs [PCYP] has been serving children and families across northern Nevada. PCYP brings exceptional performing arts programming to elementary schools, public libraries, and community centers in Washoe, Carson, Churchill, Douglas, Humboldt, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, and Storey Counties. The interdisciplinary artists on our roster use music, dance, theater and more to teach K-5 curriculum in exciting, new, and interactive ways. Individual audience members are never charged a fee to attend a PCYP performance.
